Our Mission

Our mission is to share and touch the lives of people with the gospel of Jesus Christ for healing, service and empowerment.

We at Our Redeemer are a family of believers in Jesus Christ who strive to serve our Savior, each other and our community in the East Texas area.  Our doors are open to all and welcome visitors whom, we hope, will join us.  The chief service of the church is to gather in worship to the Lord God who gives us life, new life. ORLC offers multiple opportunities to gather around the Word and Sacrament in the fellowship of God's people in affiliation with the Missouri Synod of the Lutheran denomination and under the leadership of Pastor Darrell Howanitz.

Ephesians 2:8-10   
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- -and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
